Why is it called The "Fox" Lodge?

At The Fox Lodge, all of our Foxes are family of which we hope you will become a part!

How much do you know about foxes in the wild? The Fox Lodge has chosen this extraordinary animal to brand the company for specific reasons. The fox has left its mark on humanity. Foxes and their imagery can be found in literature, art, symbolism, and even spiritual forms. Foxes have emotions and they are loving creatures, excellent parents, and a priceless part of the ecosystems in which they inhabit.

Elder foxes are protected in their packs (also called a “skulk”, “leash”, or “earth”) and will always travel in the center of the pack while younger, stronger members surround them in a protective barrier to keep them safe from predators.

Just as the fox is an integral part of its family and environment, we believe that our elders also deserve reverence and protection. Their experience and knowledge are priceless. This philosophy is the key to our established mission statement- both of which guide our daily practice of providing a safe and engaging experience for our “Foxes”.
